KESW Keynote emphasises GOLD objectives

In his keynote “The Semantic Web Doesn’t Exist Yet Because You’re All Doing it Wrong” at the 4th Conference on Knowledge Engineering and Semantic Web (KESW), Kendall Clark (from Clark&Parsia) pointed out the need to research “schema learning” and “hybrids of statistical and logical inference”, which he considers “ripe for exploration”. These two challenges form the core of the GOLD project, and we are excited to be among the first to advance research in this direction.
